Pilates is simply one of the best and safest exercise programs that a woman can do both during pregnancy and after giving birth. Epiphany Pilates offers a comprehensive Prenatal & Postnatal Program designed to help prepare a woman's body for birth and to promote a quick recovery after birth. Our program strengthens the pelvic floor, abdominals and deep postural muscles while helping women quickly regain their pre-pregnancy energy and fitness levels after delivery.

Our Winter 2020 session of prenatal and postnatal classes will run from January 11th until February 27th, during which we will be offering the following:

Bump Barre™/Baby at the Barre™

Saturday, 11:00am

Bump Barre™ is high-energy, low-impact class for the mom-to-be that incorporates elements of Pilates, Yoga, dance, cardio and strength training to stretch and tone the body safely during each trimester.

Baby at the Barre™ is a fun, energetic class for new moms wearing their baby in a carrier. Each class integrates elements of ballet, Pilates, and Yoga to reactivate the core muscle groups, improve posture and balance, and strengthen and stretch the entire body.

Classes will be held on 1/11, 1/18, 1/25, 2/1, 2/8, and 2/15.

 

Mommy & Me Pilates Mat

Wednesday, 11:00am 

A special 45-minute class designed to help new moms rejuvenate and restore their bodies, and meet other new local moms. Each class provides a great opportunity to bond with baby while realigning the pelvis, reactivating the core, and strengthening and stretching the entire body after delivery. Designed for moms and babies, from age 6 weeks until walking, each Mommy & Me Pilates class features exercises that incorporate the weight of baby to tone and sculpt muscles.

Classes will be held on 1/15, 1/22, 1/29, 2/5, 2/12, and 2/19.

 

Prenatal Pilates Reformer Plus

Thursday, 6:30pm

Designed especially for moms-to-be, this class provides a challenging full-body workout using the Pilates Reformer as well as a range of other pieces of Pilates equipment and small props. Clients will learn equipment settings as well as proper transitions for optimal flow between exercises while building strength and preparing the body for labor and delivery.

Classes will be held on 1/16, 1/30, 2/6, 2/13, 2/20 and 2/27.

 

The cost of Prenatal Pilates Reformer Plus is $235 per 6-week session. The cost of Bump Barre™, Baby at the Barre™ or Mommy & Me Pilates Mat is $150 per 6-week session. Save $50 if you register for both Prenatal Pilates Reformer Plus and Bump Barre™ or Mommy & Me Pilates and Baby at the Barre™. The cost of Prenatal Pilates Reformer Plus coupled with Bump Barre™ is just $335. The cost of Mommy & Me Pilates plus Baby at the Barre™ is just $250.
