PILATES

We offer Pilates classes for a range of levels.

Most classes are 50 minutes. Express and virtual classes are 40 minutes.


Level I

A fun and engaging class designed for beginners that provides an introduction to the fundamental Pilates repertoire.

Level II

An intense and challenging class designed for advanced beginners and intermediate level clients.

Level III

An advanced, fast-moving class based on the intermediate and advanced exercises from the Pilates repertoire.

 

Pilates Mat with Props – A dynamic workout that builds upon the fundamental Pilates Mat repertoire and incorporates a range of exercises along with the use of props to tone each muscle group, improve balance, and increase coordination.

Pilates Reformer – A high-energy workout that incorporates the use the Pilates Reformer to provide resistance and support. This class includes the use of the Reformer box and jump board to add extra challenge and promote balance, stability and core strength.

Pilates Reformer Jumpboard – This high-intensity class incorporates a series of jumping sequences in combination with a full range of reformer exercises to add a fun cardiovascular component to the classic reformer workout. Burn calories while strengthening and toning your entire body during this low-impact but highly challenging class.

Pilates Tower – A fun and challenging workout that incorporates the use of the Pilates Wall Unit, a spring-based apparatus derived from the Pilates Cadillac, to provide added resistance as the ultimate test of control and stabilization. This class strengthens the core and improves flexibility while toning the entire body.

Taste of Pilates – A 25-minute, no-obligation introduction to our Pilates equipment classes. This short and sweet workout is designed to introduce clients to our challenging and enjoyable Pilates Reformer, Pilates Tower, and Pilates Circuit classes.

Pilates Circuit – An intense and dynamic workout that incorporates a range of Pilates equipment, including the Step Barrel, Wunda Chair, Reformer and Tower, along with a variety of small props to keep the body guessing. This class emphasizes transitions for optimal flow between exercises while building strength, enhancing flexibility, and improving endurance.

 

GYROTONIC®/GYROKINESIS® Progressions

Perfect compliment to your GYROTONIC® Private/Semi-Private Training Sessions. These classes are designed to enhance your understanding of the GYROTONIC® method while building strength to help you better explore the limitless potential of your body in harmonious motion. 


GYROTONIC® Progressions During this class, participants explore the GYROTONIC® Homework Series, an elegant progression that introduces the fundamentals of the GYROTONIC® method. The class will incorporate natural movements and breath patterns to build strength and range of motion throughout the entire body, while encouraging the connection of mind, body and spirit. Participants will move fluidly from start to finish during a sequence of spinal motion exercises designed to enhance mobility while articulating through all of the joints, ultimately leaving the studio more energized, refreshed and aligned.

GYROTONIC® TowerThis class consists of carefully crafted exercise sequences using the GYROTONIC® Pulley Tower to enhance balance and efficiency, promote flexibility and create functional strength. The GYROTONIC® method is designed to open up the body in a supportive and safe manner. It integrates a range of spinal motions and fluid movements with corresponding rhythmic breath patterns that leave the body feeling awakened and revived.

GYROKINESIS® Progressions During this rhythmic and flowing class, participants explore the principles of the GYROKINESIS® Method, an elegant movement series that incorporates fluid motions and breath patterns to build strength and range of motion throughout the entire body, while opening energy pathways, stimulating the nervous system, and improving alignment and proprioception. Participants will move fluidly from start to finish during sequences of natural spinal motions while articulating through all of their joints, ultimately leaving the studio more energized, refreshed and aligned.

GYROTONIC® Fundamentals This class is the perfect starting point for those interested in trying out the GYROTONIC® method in a group setting. The goal is to help clients become familiar with the basic exercises, concepts and set-up of the equipment. Perfect for beginners or those wishing to do a deep dive into the GYROTONIC® expansion system, participants will receive personalized feedback to answer all of their curiosities about this life-changing movement method.

 
 

YOGA


Vinyasa Yoga – A challenging class designed to build strength, increase flexibility and encourage the quest for inner focus. This class incorporates the fundamental Yoga postures and principles to invigorate the entire body.

Family Yoga – Share the gift of yoga with your children! During this playful and fun vinyasa yoga class, learn the foundation to a safe and relaxing yoga practice for the entire family. This special 45-minute class is recommended for children, ages 3-11; attendance is limited to two (2) children per adult.

Flow and Let Go Yoga (Virtual) - A 40-minute class designed to build strength, increase flexibility and encourage the quest for inner focus. Free Zoom access required. This class begins with an emphasis on linking breath to movement during a 20-minute vinyasa flow to build heat in the body, strengthen muscles, and gradually raise the heart rate. During the last 20 minutes of class, enjoy the transition to longer holds in deep-stretch poses which offers the opportunity to surrender to gravity and seek release in the body and the mind. Leave our virtual studio feeling relaxed, renewed, and centered!

Restorative Yoga – A relaxing and nourishing class designed to restore the body and enhance mindfulness, while releasing tension and gently stretching and strengthening the body. This class incorporates poses that promote relaxation, restoration and rejuvenation to improve range of motion and joint mobility while reducing pain and the effects of stress caused by daily fastpaced activities.

Gentle Yoga – This gentle, slower-paced class introduces clients to a range of yoga postures designed to increase flexiblity and range of motion throughout the body while reducing stress. With a focus on opening up the connective tissues surrounding the hips, pelvis, and low back, each class includes a series of static floor poses. This class provides the perfect compliment to a hectic lifestyle, cultivating a sense of balance and honor for the mind, body, and spirit.

 

BARRE

A full-body, high-energy class that integrates elements of Pilates, Yoga, dance, cardio and strength training. Perfect for all levels!


BootyBarre® Plus is an upbeat, fast-paced class that incorporates the use of light hand weights to tone the arm and back muscles as well as high-energy cardio intervals to maximize the burn at the barre.

BootyBarre® Plus Sliders is built on the foundation of the BootyBarre® Plus format. This class incorporates the use of BootyBarre® Sliders to add extra balance and resistance challenge while intensifying the burn at the barre.

BootyBarre® Flex & Flow is a dynamic class that blends deep muscle toning, fluid movements, flexibility, and core strengthening. This class incorporates the use of flexbands to provide resistance while working multiple muscle groups.

Barre Basics is designed for those who are new to barre fitness. This class is the perfect introduction to the terminology and techniques taught in our BootyBarre® Plus and BootyBarre® Flex & Flow classes.

Move and Groove Barre (Virtual) - A 40-minute upbeat, fast-paced class that enables participants to dance away stress and strain. Free Zoom access required. The class incorporates the use of two light hand weights (or food cans or filled water bottles) to tone the arms and back muscles as well as high-energy cardio intervals to maximize the burn at the “barre.” Participants should have a kitchen chair, ledge or rail handy during the class, and will leave our virtual studio feeling de-stressed and energized!

 

 

 

PRENATAL & POSTNATAL


Prenatal Pilates Mat – A unique class for the mom-to-be that incorporates a range of exercises, adapted for each trimester, to strengthen the pelvic floor and deep postural muscles while promoting body awareness in preparation for labor and delivery.

Prenatal Pilates Reformer - Designed especially for moms-to-be, this class provides a challenging full-body workout using the Pilates Reformer. Clients will learn equipment settings as well as proper transitions for optimal flow between exercises while building strength and preparing the body for labor and delivery.

Postnatal Pilates Mat – A ‘must have’ for new moms! Each class is designed to reactivate the deep abdominal and pelvic floor muscles after birth while stretching, strengthening and toning the entire body. Pre-crawling babies are welcome.

 

Mommy & Me Pilates – A special class designed to help new moms rejuvenate and restore their bodies, and meet other new local moms. Each class provides a great opportunity to bond with baby while realigning the pelvis, reactivating the core, and strengthening and stretching the entire body after delivery. Designed for moms and babies, from age 6 weeks until walking, each Mommy & Me Pilates class features exercises that incorporate the weight of baby to tone and sculpt muscles.

Baby at the Barre – Bond with baby while at the barre! A fun, energetic class for new moms wearing their baby in a carrier. Each class integrates elements of ballet, Pilates, and Yoga to reactivate the core muscle groups, improve posture and balance, and strengthen and stretch the entire body.

Prenatal & Postnatal Pilates Reformer, Tower, and Circuit – Designed especially for moms-to-be and new moms, these classes provide a challenging and safe workout using the Pilates equipment and small props. Each class emphasizes proper transitions for optimal flow between exercises while building strength, preparing the body for labor and delivery, and recovering after baby is born.

Bump Barre – A high-energy, low-impact class for the mom-to-be that incorporates elements of Pilates, Yoga, dance, cardio and strength training to stretch and tone the body safely during each trimester.
